Antennas

LPDA antennas has a wide range of applications spanning electronic warfare, telecommunications, radio astronomy, and radar systems. We designed an LPDA antenna to meet the client’s requirements, carefully considering their needs. Throughout the mechanical engineering design services process, we involved the client, discussing results at every stage. Based on the client’s requirements, multiple design solutions were provided to the client after our team brainstormed different ideas. Then, the client was guided to choose the best possible design according to their requirements.

We created a 3D model  3D model of the design based on the client’s requirements and shared the CAD model before fabrication. Considering local market availability, we used optimal machining operations to minimize costs. and ensure an easily manufacturable design meeting all client requirements. The design’s base structure comprises two square aluminium pipes separated by spacers to prevent contact and inhibit conduction.

We add square pipes to the top and bottom of the antenna, spacing them regularly and increasing their height to improve functionality as needed. We analyze the structure thoroughly to make sure it can handle the expected loads without breaking. Additionally, we test the design in simulations to ensure it works well in its intended environments.

A 3D CAD model was first designed to ensure precision and accuracy. A CAD model enables the engineers to visualize the design before manufacturing it to sort out any design oversight, which saves manufacturing costs and ensures good product quality. Its unique design allows for patented, safeguarding intellectual property and proving the novelty of the mechanical engineering design services.
